2. Quenching

3. Tempering
Tempering is to give the quenched brake disc a certain degree of toughness and tensile strength. The tempering temperature depends on the strength and hardness of the selected material, generally ranging from 300 to 650 ºC. Excessive tempering temperature can lead to a decrease in hardness and affect braking performance; Low tempering temperature can lead to increased brittleness.
4. Grinding
The surface of the brake disc that has undergone tempering treatment is relatively rough and needs to be ground to make its surface smooth and uniform. Grinding can be carried out through turning, grinding machines, grinding wheels, and other methods.
